Accessibility for Seniors: A CBRM Election Issue
The seniors who built the Nova Scotian economy deserve the support necessary to live and age well in the communities they built.
Candidate for CBRM District 12
I commit to thoughtful leadership, to listening to your needs and translating them into governance and advocacy between municipal, provincial, and federal governments. I have time for you and the know-how to lead the Council towards an Accessible CBRM. With nearly 40% of our population ages 15+ living with one or more disabilities and the economic opportunities in Accessible Tourism, our communities deserve leadership capable of meeting the new needs and challenges for municipal government as the Accessibility Act and Human Rights Remedy are implemented across Nova Scotia.
